De-Cix said it reached new records for data traffic both for its global internet exchange and in Europe on 07 July. The global internet exchange recorded 29.517 Tbps of traffic as millions of soccer fans worldwide watched the Fifa World Cup men's match between Argentina and Egypt. De-Cix Frankfurt, Europe's largest internet exchange, recorded an all-time high of 19.636 Tbps exchanged, too.
