Telecompaper, a world leader in telecoms releated news, analytics and research, has decided to devote a daylong conference to this hugely important but equally complex development:
The connected TV represents the marriage of broadcast and broadband. Hence, it has a profound influence on both markets. One of the most important questions is: will the connected TV lead to cord-cutting, i.e. cancellations of pay-TV subscriptions? The US market appears to give some premature evidence of it, with a number of people cancelling their pay-TV subscriptions in the second and third quarters of 2010. Still, broadcast TV will not go away anytime soon and may very well be an essential building block of any connected TV offering.
Fee for attending is EUR 795.00 and includes a free weekly email newsfeed on Global OTT TV developments. Check 'Sign up' tab for more information
