Radware has signed a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract with a new customer. The new customer, a major global SaaS enterprise software company, has deployed the Radware DefensePro DDoS mitigation solution to protect its critical infrastructure and applications. Before deploying the Radware platform, the customer was experiencing repeated DDoS attacks ranging from around 30 Gbps to over 600 Gbps.

Netherlands TV-video market grows 2.6% in Q3 to EUR 759 mln

The subscription TV and online video market in the Netherlands grew 2.6 percent year-on-year in the third quarter, to sales of EUR 759 million, according to the latest research by Telecompaper. Growth has slowed somewhat due to fewer newcomers, with the Viaplay TV+ channels the most recent arrival. That launch helped grow income from premium channels, while basic TV shows a structural decline. Kinetic takes part in 13 local impact projects during holiday season

US fibre broadband provider Kinetic has launched its holiday giving initiatives for 2025, with more than 12 local impact projects activated during November and December. These include working with partners such as the Salvation Army, Wreaths Across America and Operation Santa Claus on projects such as toy drives, food donations and service-based outreach. Overall, Kinetic took park in 13 local impact projects across Kentucky, Georgia, Arkansas, the Northeast, Midwest, Southwest and Southeast.

No internet access would ruin Christmas for one third of Brits - Virgin

More than one third (38%) of Brits said Christmas without internet access would be a catastrophe, according to new research from Virgin Media O2. No internet access on Christmas Day would completely ruin the day or cause significant problems, with 37 percent of Brits worried about how they would keep family and guests entertained. One third (33%) of Brits plan to start Christmas Day by scrolling on social media.
