Cisco announced the release of a family of AI language models designed to scan software code for known vulnerabilities. The Antares family consists of small language models with open weights. Cisco said Antares would create a highly specialised and cost-effective layer for deep codebase analysis. Variants called Antares-1B and Antares-350M are available on Hugging Face, while another iteration called Antares-3B has been confirmed.

EBITDA was up 7.5 percent to PEN 729 million in the three months to June and the margin fell slightly to 39.3 percent as the mix shifted from services to lower-margin handset sales.
