Welsh govt ABC broadband grant scheme help 1,000 properties

The Welsh government's relaunched 'Access Broadband Cymru' (ABC) grant scheme has helped to improve broadband connectivity for 1,000 rural premises across Wales. The scheme provides grants of up to GBP 800 per premise, with grants covering both equipment and installation costs. Rebecca Evans, Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Energy and Planning, reaching the 1,000 property milestone proves that the ABC programme is "delivering for people across Wales".

A group of European vendors has launched an open source alternative to Microsoft Office based on sovereign IT components that can be integrated into different platforms. Backed by Ionos, Nextcloud, Eurostack, XWiki, OpenProject, Soverin, Abilian and BTactic, an early build of the Euro-Office suite is now available ahead of the first full stable release in summer 2026.

Croatian telecom revenues reach EUR 1.87 billion in 2025

The Croatian telecoms services market generated total revenue of EUR 1.87 billion in 2025, up 3.6 per cent from 2024, according to data from regulator Hakom. Fixed network services grew by 5.1 per cent, while mobile network services saw a 2.9 per cent rise. Investments in fixed network tangible assets increased, with over EUR 135 million specifically directed into Very High Capacity Networks (VHCN). Mobile network tangible asset investments, however, experienced a slight decrease.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has won a major hyperscaler cloud services contract from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) in the UK. Omnia Data Centres, managed by Patria Investimentos, is securing international funding for a BRL 11 billion data centre project for TikTok, according to a report by Valor Econpmico. Maltese operator Go posted revenue of EUR 254.4 million for the year ended 31 December 2025, which represents a growth of 3.9 percent year-on-year, while EBITDA reached EUR 92 million, up 1.5 percent. Grupo Multi achieves financial turnaround in 2025

The financial performance of Brazilian electronics manufacturer Grupo Multi improved significantly in the fourth quarter of 2025, and its net loss shrank by 85.3 percent to BRL 28.1 million from the BRL 191.9 million loss in Q4 2024. AmpliTech has reported revenue of USD 25.2 million for FY 2025, an increase of around 165 percent year-on-year.
