Plus starts sales of iPhone 17e

Polish operator Polkomtel, trading under the Plus brand, has started sales of the iPhone 17e smartphone in its shops. The device is available for sale under the installment programme Play Exchange, where customers pay over a 36-month contract and can upgrade their phone to a new model after 24 months. Under this programme, the iPhone 17e costs PLN 2,229 (PLN 299 initial payment and 24 monthly payments totaling PLN 83.33 each).

Slovak pay TV operator Redit, working in Central Slovakia, has added four TV channels from Music Box to its pay TV lineup, reports Zive. Canal Plus ends 2025 with 42 mln subs, announces EUR 100 mln 'boost' plan for MultiChoice

The Canal Plus group said that it ended 2025 with 42.3 million global subscribers. This base includes 14.4 million MultiChoice customers, down from 14.9 million a year earlier, and excludes the discontinued operations in Vietnam, where the group has initiated a process to sell its 49 percent interest in pay-TV operator VSTV, which trades under the K+ brand. Victor6G aims to catalyse 6G-era virtualisation for industrial metaverse

An Ericsson-led 6G project backed by German state funding hopes to mature real-time network virtualisation with tightly integrated IT functionality, targeting 6G-powered industrial metaverse applications. Dutch court rejects US filmmakers' copyright claim against Ziggo

A court in the Netherlands has rejected a compensation claim from American filmmakers against the Dutch cable operator Ziggo. The court found that they had no right to claim payment for the re-transmission of their films. The case centred on whether the Directors Guild of America (DGA) and other American associations could claim such fees under the Dutch copyright law (article 45d).

The Walt Disney Company has announced that its pay-TV Disney Channel will relaunch in Spain on 01 April, around 15 months after its ceased broadcasting via the country's DTT service.
