Telia Estonia blocks 20 mln phishing calls in 2025

Telia Estonia said it managed to block 20 million phishing calls in 2025 altogether. More than 300,000 of its subscribers used roaming services abroad last year. Mobile data use abroad was most active by its customers in Latvia, Finland, Lithuania, Sweden and Germany.

Deutsche Telekom has appointed Uwe Heckert for the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer in its Healthcare unit, effective on 16 January. Swedish cybersecurity company Clavister said it has won a contract from the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency (NDMA or Forsvarsmateriell) to develop a tactical core network system (TCNS) for the Norwegian Armed Forces (Forsvaret). Moroccan govt agrees renewal of satellite services licences

Morocco's government has given the green light to the renewal of four VSAT licences held by Maroc Telecom, Wana Corporate (which trades as Inwi), Green Development and Planning Company, and Gulfsat Maghreb.
