Telia Norway upgrades Svindelsperre scam blocker

Telia Norway said it has upgraded the Svindelsperre service that it brought in last year to block fraudulent calls. The upgrade started operating three weeks ago and automatically blocks international telephone calls from invalid numbers that do not follow the usual numbering standard. It claims to be the first operator in the world to bring in this function.

AT&T announced a refresh of its mobile plans, with three tiers of plan that customers can mix across lines on the same account. The options start at USD 50 per month for the 'AT&T Value 2.0' option and go up to USD 70 for Extra 2.0 and USD 90 for Premium 2.0. The prices fall as customers add more lines, to as little as USD 30/40/55 with four or more lines on the same account.

UK regulator Ofcom has launched a consultation on whether or not to grant a non-geostationary orbiting (NGSO) earth station licence to Starlink for gateway sites in Mulberry Wharf (London) and Harlow (Essex). Regional TV operator Imafex to raise rates from April

Slovak regional pay TV operator Imafex, providing services in Liptov and Banska Bystrica, plans to raise prices for its TV services from 01 April, reports Zive. The main reason is the growing cost of content licensing. The base package from the operator will cost EUR 10.90, up from EUR 7.90, an increase of 38 percent. The operator will also reduce the monthly rate of its package Kinobox, incuding TV channels FilmBox Family, FilmBox Premium HD and FilmBox Extra HD, by EUR 0.40 to EUR 1.70.

NTV-Plus resumes TV services in Siberia

Russian satellite TV operator NTV Plus has resumed its services in Siberia, reports RBC. The services are provided over the satellite Yamal-402, belonging to the operator Gazprom Space Systems, with around 60 channels available. The switch follows the loss of Russian satellite Express-AT1, located at 56 degrees East, which stopped working unexpectedly on 04 March. Efforts at the state-owned satellite operator RSCC and the vendor Reshetnev to restore its functions were unsuccessful.

Russian internet company Yandex said that revenues of its subsidiary Yandex B2B Tech totaled RUB 48.2 billion in 2025, up by 48 percent year-on-year. Adjusted EBITDA amounted to RUB 9.4 billion.
