The Norwegian National Security Authority (NSM) has published its 'Risk 2026' report, which among other things warns that businesses using foreign cloud services give up some of their control over digital infrastructure, systems and data stored and processed in the cloud. Dazn inks deal to air all 2026 FIFA World Cup games in Spain

Dazn has reached an agreement with Spanish broadcaster and sports rights broker Mediapro to air all 104 games of the 2026 Fifa World Cup on its streaming service.  Under the deal, Mediapro's dedicated 'GolStadium' feed will be available to Dazn subscribers, unlike last summer's 2025 Fifa Club World Cup, which was offered to subscribers and non-subscribers alike.

EU tells TikTok to change 'addictive' design or face fines

TikTok's basic design is addictive and needs to change if the company wants to avoid large fines in the EU, the European Commission said. Its investigation found that TikTok violates the EU's Digital Services Act, which requires large online platforms to reduce the risk of negative effects on users. The company will have a chance to respond to the allegations before the EU considers any sanctions.

Movistar (Telefonica) has reached an agreement with Google to add the latter's Pixel series devices to its catalogue of 5G smartphones in Spain. The operator said the standard Google Pixel 10 with 256GB is available at no extra cost when signing up to a 48-month convergent contract, with the Pro version costing from EUR 21 month and the 10 Pro XL from EUR 26 a month.

Ribbon Communications fell just short of its revised FY sales target of USD 847-867 million, as multiple customer and project delays impeded its Q4 intake.
