NTT plans USD 500 mln fund to support optical networking technology - report
NTT plans to establish a multinational investment fund worth approximately USD 500 million to support the commercialisation of its Innovative Optical and Wireless Network (IOWN) technology, according to Nikkei, citing industry sources. The fund is expected to be launched by the end of June and will be jointly operated by NTT and partners from Japan, the United States, South Korea and Taiwan.
