Telkomsel expands Capsyl Cloud platform to its entire customer base with Synchronoss

Synchronoss Technologies has expanded its partnership deal with Indonesian operator Telkomsel. Building on the initial launch of the Capsyl Cloud platform in March 2025, the new agreement focuses on scaling the service to Telkomsel's entire subscriber base, including both prepaid and postpaid users. Telkomsel plans to extend the service to premium tiers and offer prepaid perks for subscribers, with commercial availability targeted for later this year.

Samsung Mobile South Africa is accepting advance orders for the Galaxy S26 series, with delivery to customers expected to begin by 04 March. The S26 starts at ZAR 20,999, the S26+ will cost ZAR 25,999 and the S26 Ultra will be priced from ZAR 30,999. The first 100 customers who place reservations from Vodacom World will get a free smartphone cover engraved to their preferences at the Vodacom World Galaxy Studio.

Chunghwa Telecom adopts IFRS sustainability standards one year ahead of schedule

Taiwanese operator Chunghwa Telecom reports it has become the first company in Taiwan to fully adopt the new global IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (IFRS S1 and S2) one year ahead of schedule. T2 says average mobile data speed increases by a third thanks to network upgrades in 2025

Russian mobile operator T2, a subsidiary of the national operator Rostelecom, said it deployed 37,000 new base stations in 2025. The operator built 8,000 new sites as part of the network upgrades and implemented VoWi-Fi for customers across the country. Thanks to the work average mobile data speeds increased by 33.5 percent, T2 said. Around 4,000 of the new base stations from Bulat, produced in Russia and supporting LTE and GSM, were working on the T2 network at the end of 2025.

Maldivian operator Dhiraagu has enabled a digital facility for customers to fulfil their Fitr Zakat obligations through DhiraaguPay.
