Acme Packet introduces Palladion Enterprise

Monday 18 March 2013 | 16:56 CET | News
Session delivery networks provider, Acme Packet has announced Palladion Enterprise for real-time monitoring, troubleshooting and analysis of enterprise voice over IP (VoIP) and unified communications (UC) networks. Palladion Enterprise provides dashboards and metrics with deep visibility into the network, enabling enterprises to reduce operations costs, increase user satisfaction and detect voice fraud. Palladion Enterprise consists of two new enterprise services: Communications Operations Monitor to oversee the network and provide deep troubleshooting capabilities in real-time and Fraud Detection and Prevention to identify and guard against voice fraud. The Palladion framework leverages vendor-neutral probes to monitor any VoIP network. The probes are available as a software component integrated into Acme Packet's enterprise session border controller, the Net-Net Enterprise Session Director, or on third-party hardware. The Palladion framework also provides end-to-end call correction and analytics, segmentation of the network path for fast and accurate problem localisation, on demand troubleshooting down to the individual user, historical and current session data to assist analytics in preventing fraud, media quality analysis, including R factor and MOS value, insight and analysis of signalling messages and real-time scoring and fraud alerts.
