Allied Telesis wins contract at Italian Air Force

IP/Ethernet access equipment provider Allied Telesis has won a contract at the Italian Air Force. The Aeronautica Militare Italiana (AMI) has selected Allied Telesis for five multiservice charters, for an integrated networking service, which includes the Allied Telesis SwitchBlade x908, AT-x900 advanced layer 3, and AT-x600 gigabit edge switches. Deployment is currently underway in AMI military campuses to enable security, reliability, and manageability for mission-critical applications. The Allied Telesis SwitchBlade x908 layer-3 modular switch incorporates eight high-speed 60 Gbps expansion
