America Movil sells more shares in Telekom Austria
America Movil announced plans to sell another 0.89 percent stake in Telekom Austria Group. The 5.92 million shares will be offered to institutional investors in an accelerated bookbuilding. 

Last month America Movil sold 7.8 percent of its voting rights in Telekom Austria to the market, reducing its stake to 51.89 percent. The latest share sale will lower its stake to 51.0 percent. 

America Movil said it currently has no plans to sell any more shares in Telekom Austria. In addition, it has agreed to a 180-day lock-up of its remaining shares.

Telekom Austria Group reported a small increase in third quarter results, saying strong handset sales helped offset the negative impact of EU roaming price cuts. America Movil improves underlying results in Q3

America Movil reported an improvement in underlying third-quarter results, saying service revenues were stable year-on-year excluding currency effects compared to an annual decline in the previous quarter. Telekom Austria sees no acquisition opportunities

The CFO of Telekom Austria Siegfried Mayrhofer said that the company currently sees no chances for acquisitions, reports Der Standard. The company will focus on excellence in core business, new products, artificial intelligence, internet of things and other. Speaking at the Gewinn Messe in Vienna, Mayrhofer said that the group aims to increase dividends from EUR 0.05 to EUR 0.20 per share.

Supervisory board says A1 to keep market listing and keep HQ

The supervisory board of Telekom Austria has discussed the recent hot issues related to potential changes at subsidiary A1, proposed by Telekom Austria majority shareholder America Movil, namely an exit from the Viennese stock exchange and the fate of the A1 headquarters in Vienna. It had proposed its transformation from a joint stock company into a limited liability company. The supervisory board concluded that there will be no changes to its HQ, nor an exit from the stock exchange.

America Movil confirms sale of Telekom Austria shares

America Movil confirmed it's reducing its stake in Telekom Austria Group. The company said it has agreed to sell shares corresponding to 7.8 percent of the voting rights in Telekom Austria to the market. This reduces its stake from 59.70 percent to 51.89 percent.
