French tablet maker Archos announced that the Archos G9 and Archos 70b tablets are fully compatible with Free's mobile services thanks to the Freebox Mobile app available free of charge at Android Market. The tablets connect to the network attached storage (NAS) of the Freebox through the universal plus & play standard, for access to videos, photos or music on the Feebox hard drive. Users will also be able to watch Freebox channels on the tablets via Wi-Fi by installing an upgrade to be released in early February. Archos also announced that the Archos G9 3G dongle is fully compatible with Free's Sim card on G9 tablets. Archos 35 DECT phones are also compatible with the Freebox Revolution STB.
