Nokia to launch TD-SCDMA phone in China before year-end Friday 7 August 2009 | 07:47 AM CET
 
Nokia will launch a TD-SCDMA handset in China before the end of the year. The handset will launch at China Mobile, which operates a 3G network using the TD-SCDMA standard, Colin Giles, Nokia president for China, told Reuters in an interview. The smartphone running on the Symbian platform is expected to be in the mid-to-high price range. China accounted for around 15 percent of Nokia sales in the last quarter.
