Aruba Q2 revenues up 35%, widens net loss

Aruba Networks' revenues for the fiscal second quarter ended 31 January increased 35 percent to USD 126.3 million from the USD 93.9 million in the year-ago quarter. Product revenues grew to USD 105.9 million from USD 79.1 million and professional services and support revenues increased to USD 20 million from USD 14.6 million. Rateable product and related professional services and support revenues also rose to USD 214,000 from USD 156,000. The net loss widened to USD 11.4 million or a USD 0.11 net loss per share from USD 2.8 million or a USD 0.03 net loss per share. Cash and cash equivalents amounted to USD 64.42 million at the end of the period. The company added over 1,500 new customers to surpass 19,000 cumulative customers.
