
AT&T to start selling Amazon Kindle Fire HD from 5 April

AT&T has announced Amazon's Kindle Fire HD LTE 32 GB tablet will be available in select AT&T company-owned retail stores beginning 5 April. Previously the tablet was only available through Amazon.com, with AT&T providing the mobile broadband service. AT&T customers who purchase the USD 399 Kindle Fire HD LTE with a two-year data plan agreement through AT&T will receive up to USD 150 off for a limited time, lowering the overall cost to USD 249. The Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch features custom Dolby audio and dual stereo speakers, access to over 23 million movies, TV shows, songs, magazines, books and audiobooks, a front-facing HD camera, up to ten hours of battery life, and Amazon exclusive features such as X-Ray for Movies, X-Ray for Textbooks, Immersion Reading, Whispersync for Voice and Whispersync for Games.
