Austrian operators report high interest in iPhone 5 sales

T-Mobile Austria said that more than 200 people were waiting outside its shop on Kaerntner Street for when sales of the new iPhone 5 started at 06.00 hours on 28 September. It is offering the phones from EUR 99 for customers signing up for an 'L' smartphone plan with the All Inclusive International tariff. Rival operator A1 opened up 11 shops at 06.00 hours to sell the new phone, offering a EUR 50 discount for all customers buying an iPhone 5 between 06.00 and 08.00 hours.
