Azerbaijan cable operators switch to digital TV

Azerbaijan cable-TV operators Katv1 and Aile TV will soon start switching to digital TV, with the national switchover scheduled for 1 March, Aze.az reported. The operators will stop broadcasting the seven channels in their analogue package and transfer them to the basic digital TV package. The operators plan to introduce parental control, VoD, HDTV and some other services in the future.
