Bell launches Samsung Knox security service

Bell and Samsung Electronics have announced the first global availability of Samsung Knox, a security offering that provides enterprise customers with a high level of security and protection when employees use their own mobile devices. Bell is the only Canadian mobile carrier to offer a fully integrated Samsung Knox service for business customers. Samsung Knox features Security Enhancements for Android, Trusted Secure Boot, and TrustZone-based Kernel Integrity Measurement as well as separates business and personal data, allowing enterprises to manage corporate data independently from personal user information. Additional features include: a suite of enterprise applications including email, file sharing, CRM, browser, contacts and collaboration, compatibility with existing common enterprise infrastructure and automatic integration of existing Android ecosystem applications. Samsung Knox is currently available for the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 through Bell.
