Blue Jeans Network announces launch of Blue Jeans 2.0

Interoperable video collaboration provider Blue Jeans Network has unveiled Blue Jeans 2.0. Blue Jeans 2.0 includes a redesigned interface (UI) with easier meeting access, enhanced content sharing, and in-meeting controls for the business user, as well as new management, on-boarding and customisation capabilities for the IT administrator. For the business user, the new UI makes it easier to schedule, host, join and manage Blue Jean meetings. The Blue Jeans experience now includes: simplified connection options allowing for one click access to join most meetings, a streamlined in-meeting experience that integrates high quality video with an active participant roster, muting and layout controls and rich content sharing capabilities, easier meeting scheduling directly from Google Calendar and/or Microsoft Outlok and an optimised browser video experience that supports both WebRTC and non-WebRTC enabled browsers. 

For the IT administrator, Blue Jeans 2.0 delivers enhanced administration tools including: customised branding options that allow for customer-specific landing pages, a customer branded version of the user interface and customised messaging in emails and invitations, group level permission controls, single sign one (SSO) with Active Directory and SAML, and API for customised user provisioning and integration into internal scheduling systems. The Blue Jeans 2.0 features are currently available to all Blue Jeans customers and free trial users. Blue Jeans will also be demonstrating the new capabilities this week at InfoCom 2013 in Orlando, Florida.
