Bosnia reaches mobile penetration of 86% at end-2008

There were 3.842 million users of mobile telephony in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the end of 2008, according to data from the Communications Regulatory Agency. This represents a mobile telephony penetration rate of 86 percent. Market leader BH Telecom has 1.4 million customers, M:tel has 1.1 million mobile telephony users, and the smallest operator, Eronet, has 660,000 users.
