Bosnia to sell minority stake in BH Telecom

The government of Bosnia and Herzegovina will privatize a minority stake in operator BH Telecom, but will retain a 51 percent controlling share in the company, Federal Prime Minister, Fadil Novalic, confirmed after a session of the Federal Government, reports Indikator. BH Telecom will be privatized due to the annual decrease in profit of about BAM 40 million, and for fear of losing market position. The sale is part of the reform agenda of the government. BH Telecom is 90 percent state-owned.
