French IT services group Capgemini reported revenues up 11.4 percent to EUR 9.69 billion in 2011, 2 points higher growth than its target set at the beginning of the year. On a like-for-like basis, sales increased 5.6 percent, with the consolidation of Brazil's CPM Braxis and France's Prosodie, acquired in October 2010 and July 2011, respectively. Capgemini's operating profit increased by 21.7 percent to EUR 595 million in 2011. After a EUR 105 million net financial expense and EUR 101 million in income taxes, net profit rose by 44.3 percent to EUR 404 million. Capgemini's board recommended a dividend payment of EUR 1 per share, the same amount as for 2010. The group expects to report limited organic growth in revenues in 2012, partly due to public sector cost cuts in most European countries. It anticipates that it will increase its operating margin in 2012.
