Cincinnati Bell studies options for data centre business

Friday 10 February 2012 | 15:17 CET | News
Cincinnati Bell plans to evaluate the structural, capital and financial alternatives for its growing Data Center business. Options under consideration will include, among others, operating the Data Center business under the current structure with no changes, a partial separation through a sale, an IPO or other transaction, or, depending on the value to shareholders, a full separation. Cincinnati Bell said it will consider options that optimise shareholder value and leave the company with an appropriate level of debt for its Communications business. The evaluation process is expected to take 6-12 months, at which time Cincinnati Bell will provide more information.
