Colombian operator Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Bogota (ETB) has started looking for a strategic partner. The partner will have to be a telecoms company with annual revenues of over USD 1 billion (approximately EUR 720 million), Reuters reports. Interested parties should have a minimum of 1.5 million fixed lines installed, or serve around 6.5 million mobile users. ETB wants to partner with a large industry player to carry out its investment plans in the medium and long term, mainly focused on the broadband business. The Colombian operator has not set a deadline for the selection of a new shareholder. ETB has chosen Santander Investment to manage the partner selection process.
