The New Zealand Commerce Commission has received a complaint about Telecom and Vodafone's joint bid for the Rural Broadband Initiative (RBI). Computerworld reports that it is likely the Regional Fibre Group which lodged the complaint. The Commerce Commission has said that initial information has been gathered but is not now actively investigating the complaint as there is a possibility that the joint bid will be exempted from the Commerce Act.
