C-PHONE UNVEILS HOME VIDEOPHONE SYSTEM

C-Phone (Wilmington, NC) has unveiled the C-Phone Home system, a home video system which allows users to view each other on conventional TV sets whilst speaking on the phone. The system comprises a self-contained TV set-top box which is operated via wireless remote control and microphone. The system can be connected to the TV like a VCR. The system has a handheld remote control allowing a video call to be answered or dialled. The C-Phone Home costs USDlr350, plus a USDlr20/mo video network subscription. The system will be shipped to US consumer electronics stores over the coming few months.
