Czech regulator CTU said it has updated its overview of TV coverage. On 30 June, analogue TV broadcasting was switched off in the regions of Trutnov and Brno. As of 01 July, digital broadcasting coverage in the first multiplex was 99.9 percent, in the second multiplex 95 percent and in the third multiplex 89 percent of the population. Analogue coverage in the regions of Jihlava, Trutnov and Brno after the switch-off of major transmitters fell below 30 percent (channel CT1 – 24.9 percent, CT2 – 0.1 percent, Nova – 26.5 percent, Prima – 17.5 percent). Analogue broadcasting continues only in Ostrava region, where the switch-off is planned for November 2011, and in the regions Zlin and Jesenik, where it will be switched off by 30 June 2012 at the latest.
