Deutsche Telekom, Sky in talks for 3D Bundesliga footage

Deutsche Telekom and pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland are negotiating with German football association DFL about broadcasting Bundesliga matches in 3D, according to German magazine Focus citing confirmation from a Deutsche Telekom spokesman. DFL is also preparing a new broadcasting rights package, which comes on the market in 2013. Meanwhile Sky is in talks with the German cable operators like Kabel Deutschland and Unitymedia, to expand its distribution coverage, according to Sky Deutschland CEO Brian Sullivan in an interview with German newspaper Handelsblatt.
