Deutsche Telekom uses Vtech, Funkwerk for phone development

Deutsche Telekom will launch a new partner models for marketing of telephones and small ISDN systems for consumers in the first quarter of 2009. Deutsche Telekom will exclusively partner with VTech Telecommunications for the production and marketing of cordless phones and normal phones, while Germany-based telecom equipment manufacturer Funkwerk Enterprise Communications will become the exclusive provider of small ISDN systems to Deutsche Telekom customers. Under these agreements, both partners receive licences to use the T-Home brand and the product names Sinus, Concept and Eumex. The phones and phone systems will have the tagline made by Vtech or made by Funkwerk.
