Digium adds Switchvox listing category to AsteriskExchange

Asterisk software developer Digium is adding a new listing category to AsteriskExchange dedicated to custom applications for Switchvox, the company's line of VoIP business phone systems. Switchvox provides a way to create custom applications that integrate the communications system with business processes to enhance productivity. Individuals and companies who are already developing for Switchvox can sell their applications in this category on AsteriskExchange. To jump-start the development and promotion of the Switchvox Solutions category and the AsteriskExchange, the standard fees are being waived for all Asterisk and Switchvox-related listings. Users can find both free and commercial Asterisk- and Switchvox-related products. The list of AsteriskExchange categories includes IP phones and gateways, speech recognition and synthesis engines, voice prompts, video integrations, call centre systems and vertical application packages. Initial Switchvox applications are available through the AsteriskExchange such as a custom Microsoft Dynamics CRM integration system created by Stauffer Technologies, a Switchvox reseller and Digium certified partner. Other applications listed in the Switchvox Solutions category include CRM Integration by Dynamic Solutions Group, Cabmate Integration, call centre system integration for yellow cab by Dynamic Solutions Group, Shadow CMS Enterprise, a call accounting software by Resource Software and StarConnect, an auto-dialer/appointment reminder by Starnet Data Design.
