Dutch Customs turn to two-way radios as well as C2000

Dutch Customs will start using 2WAY's analogue ATEX two-way radios for those times when the C2000 network does not provide enough coverage. Although the Customs office is connected to the C2000 emergency reponse system network, Custom teams checking incoming vessels usually do not have enough coverage. Ships can rarely boast of indoor coverage or connection to the C2000 network. To ensure the safety of employees therefore, Customers turned to analogue two-way radios. The devices also fit the bill because they pose no explosive risk for places where chemical or explosive gases may be present. Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Vlissingen will start using the new devices, likely followed Groningen.
