Elisa launches IPTV apps for Android, iPad tablets

Finnish operator Elisa launched apps for Android and iPad tablets designed for users of its 'Elisa Viihde' IPTV entertainment service. Using these apps, end-users can browse through the TV programme guide, record TV content on their internet-based tablets, and rent movies from Elisa's video rental store. To view recordings, users require a fast WLAN connection of 4 to 6 Mbps. A year ago, Elisa launched an Android app for Elisa Viihde customers.
