Embratel launches cloud computing services offering

Brazilian fixed-line operator Embratel has launched cloud computing services for local corporate customers. The launch is in line with Embratel parent company America Movil's plans to offer cloud computing services across Latin America. America Movil plans to soon expand its cloud computing offering in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Argentina. The offer includes storage and virtual server, unified communications, telepresence and web conferencing, as well as corporate e-mail and security services.
