EviGroup launches Yzi 2 Android tablet

French tablet maker EviGroup has released the second generation of its Yzi tablet, called Yzi 2 and selling for the same price as its predecessor, EUR 149, at Grosbill and Auchan. France Mobiles reports that the new 10-in touchscreen tablet runs Android 4, is faster and has more memory. The Yzi 2 is built around a Cortex A9 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of DDR3 memory for improved performance and a Mali 400 graphics card. It has 8GB of storage memory rather than 4GB, a native USB port and an extra USB microphone, an 3D-compatible HDMI 1.4 port to watch high quality video on TV, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and a microSD slot for extra memory. It weighs 580 g.
