Four Bangladeshi mobile operators have paid licence renewal fees for 2G licences. Grameenphone, Robi Axiata, Banglalink, and Citycell have paid their regulatory fees, bdnews24.com reports citing Bangladesh Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (BTRC) vice chairman, Giasuddin Ahmed. However, some operators still need to pay spectrum fees. The operators said they would clear all dues, Giasuddin said. "The licences will be renewed after clearing all matters regarding the dues," he added. Grameenphone issued a statement saying it submitted BDT 13.58 billion for licence renewal fees and spectrum fees.
