Google.org said it is donating EUR 1 million to organisations providing front-line humanitarian relief to migrants and refugees in Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa. The organisation, such as International Rescue Committee, Medecins Sans Frontieres, are providing essential assistance, including shelter, food and water, and medical care, to people in dire need. Google also said it was creating a public site to help people make their own donations, adding that it will be matching Googler donations as well.
