Google Street View will soon be coming to Botswana and is expanding its coverage of South Africa, IT Web reported. It has added five Cape wineries to its South African coverage, bringing the total to 30. In Botswana, Google will be collecting images in the coming weeks using Chevrolet Captiva models mounted with cameras. They will capture a variety of places including Gaborone, Francistown and famous tourist and wildlife destinations. These include Chobe National Park, Moremi Game Reserve, Makgadikgadi and Nxai Pans, Central Kalahari Game Reserve and Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Gathering and processing the data can take several months, IT Web said. Street View is now available in 30 countries worldwide, providing 360 degree street-level images.
