Hungary's m-wallet association to launch services in 2012

Hungary's Mobile Wallet Association, founded recently by Hungarian operators Telenor Hungary, Vodafone Hungary, and Magyar Telekom as well as MasterCard, OTP Bank and SuperShop, will launch test NFC-based m-payment applications this year and will implement commercial services in 2012. This year, the association plans to conduct a workshop introducing the activity of the association as well as the possibilities inherent in the technology and, possibly, to promote an eventual connection to the service for those who are interested in the technology and affiliation.
