Ionic Security completes USD 9.4 million investment round

US-based Ionic Security, developer of a unified and mobility security platform for the enterprise, has closed a USD 9.4 million Series A-1 investment round. This was led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB) and also included Atlanta-based TechOperators. The capital will be used to expand Ionic's engineering team, accelerate enterprise sales and increase awareness of its Fusion platform.
