Dutch operator KPN is planning to develop cloud services on the platform of US cloud services provider JamCracker. KPN will then be able to offer different cloud and telecom services to business customers. KPN plans to offer mainly services focused on security and identity management. JamCracker consolidates cloud services in its Jamcracker Services Delivery Network (JSDN). Customers decide which cloud services they want, such as identity management, security and reporting. Using the platform, KPN will be able to also provide converged IT and telecom services. JamCracker customers include Telstra, Eircom, Cisco, DHL and the Dutch online backup provider BackupAgent.
