La Caixa supports Telefonica's Wayra project

Telefonica has signed a partnership agreement with Spanish financial services provider La Caixa. Wayra is Telefonica's investment project in technology start-ups. Under the terms of the agreement, La Caixa will support the start-ups selected by Telefonica as part of its Wayra with mentoring and preferential access to financing, Cinco Dias reports. La Caixa will participate through its investment vehicle in the Wayra project. Telefonica has already selected 20 projects as part of its Wayra initiative in Spain.
