Lenovo's ZUK launches flagship Z2 Pro smartphone

Lenovo’s smartphone subsidiary ZUK has announced the launch of its new flagship device, the ZUK Z2 Pro, featuring the latest Snapdragon 820 processor with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Android Marshmallow-powered phone comes with a 5.2-inch display and a 13MP main camera, with F/1.8 aperture and 4K video recording. A number of health-focused features are available, including a heart rate sensor, UV sensor and an altimeter. ZUK claims that the Z2 Pro's fingerprint sensor is the fastest on the market, with unlocking taking just 0.1 seconds, and that it’s the first to support wet fingerprint unlocking. Additional features include a 3,100mAh battery, 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and USB Type-C connection.

The 6GB/128GB version is already available in China for CNY 2,699, with a lower-spec 4GB/64 variant launched on 10 May for an as-yet unspecified price.
