LG Uplus sheds 8,946 PSTN subs in October

Korean communications firm LG Uplus ended October with 2.84 million broadband customers as the operator gained 5,282 new broadband customers in the month. LG Uplus also had 3.54 million telephony subscribers. The total comprises 3.18 million VoIP customers, up by 34,260 in October, and 456,394 PSTN subscribers as LG Uplus shed 8,946 PSTN customers in the month. The company also signed-up 20,313 IPTV subscribers to bring its total to 828,359.
