Liguria to switch off analogue TV by 04 November

Italy's Liguria Region is preparing for the analogue switch-off, which will take place from 10 October to 04 November. Difficulties are expected in the distribution of the signal because of the mountainous terrain and the presence of nearly 3,000 repeaters and 170 towers. The ASO will involve the cities of Imperia, Savona, Genova and La Spezia. After 04 November, the local population will only be able to continue receiving the national TV channels via digital terrestrial or the digital satellite platform TivuSat.
