Logica France supplies iPhones to staff
Friday 27 January 2012 | 09:26 CET
IT and business services provider Logica France has supplied iPhones to its 9,200 employees with a service contract from Orange Business Services. France Mobiles reports that the "Mon iPhone a moi by Logica" plan offers 15 hours of calls and 100 SMS a month, push e-mail and unlimited internet access. Staff pay up to EUR 20 a month and can use their iPhones for work-related and private communications. At the Logic'App Store, they can download apps developed by Logica to simplify their daily work processes. The iPhone gives staff access to their e-mail and contacts when away from the office and allows them to sync their Outlook calendar. Logica France president Jean-Marc Lazzari said that equipping staff with iPhones develops innovation and creativity in the company and enables in-house testing of smartphone management issues that clients will increasingly face.
