MagTek unveils EMV Chip & PIN m-payment terminal

Electronic devices and systems manufacturer MagTek has launched an EMV chip and PIN mobile payment terminal dubbed iDynamoEMV. The iDynamoEMV payment terminal enables smartphone and tablet users to accept credit or debit card payments. The device supports magnetic card reading and EMV chip and PIN, with optional contactless card reading. Additionally, the iDynamoEMV connects to Apple devices via the Apple connector and is compatible with smart devices via the mini USB connector.
