Thursday 27 October 2011 | 06:23 CET | News
Mobile applications provider appMobi has signed a partnership agreement with US-based management and strategy services company Mashery. Under terms of the agreement, appMobi's integrated HTML5 mobile app development tool, the appMobi XDK, has been selected by Mashery as the company's initial featured 'Developer Power Tool'. The partnership aims to allow mobile app developers programming in HTML5 to extend the reach and depth of their apps by connecting them to any of Mashery's managed application programming interfaces, including WeatherBug, Quova, Klout, Rotten Tomatoes, and Qwerly. The XDK runs on Mac, PC and Linux platforms. Mobile apps created with Mashery and the appMobi XDK will be built for iOS and Android native app stores, or deployed as web apps.
